Your Website, Internet Marketing & COVID-19
What an alarming, amazing, scary, etc time we find ourselves in with COVID-19. SOOOOO many companies have gone from working in a brick and mortar type building to having almost everyone, if not everyone, work from home. Schooling is being done from home. We’re even buying our essentials online and having them delivered to our homes. By the way, did you know they tried that in the early 2000s and it failed miserably. They’ve obviously fixed the issues. I digress. COVID-19 has made it’s mark! We hope and pray your family and those you know are safe and doing well.
That leads me to the point of this post. How is your Internet marketing going? Are you still writing blog posts? Are you posting on social channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, etc? With so many people being stuck inside now’s the time to do it. If you’re already doing it, it is a good idea to increase those posts. If you’re not sure either way, of course we can help.
Something else to consider would be the “W” & “T” in a SWOT analysis. If you don’t know that stands for: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. Your potential weaknesses and threats is the person(s) that takes care of your website and/or Internet marketing whether they’re internal or external people. If they get sick, can you get to your website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked-In, newsletter service, etc? Possibly a greater threat is if it’s being done externally. How are they doing? Does that agency have a contingency plan in case their people get sick. I can assure we do. We’ve had it setup for years.
The biggest thing and we’ve mentioned it many times through several of our posts is KNOW YOUR CONNECTION points. Have at least 2-3 people know how to get into everything. Do you know how to get into your website? Do you know how to make a post on your social channels? If not, find out and don’t let it be only 1 person that knows!
Of course, as always if we can help, please do not hesitate to contact us. We did NOT have to build your site or social channels to help.
